Simple Mushroom Sauce

1 Tbs butter
1 ½ cups fresh mushrooms – sliced
1 cup beef broth
2 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 Tbs water
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup red wine
1 Tbs parsley – chopped

Saute the mushrooms in the butter until tender. Add the broth, cornstarch, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir while the sauce reduces and thickens. Stir in the red wine and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
