Just like you, we (and UPS) take a few days off each year. Below is a list of holidays when no orders can be shipped. Any orders scheduled to ship on these days will be delayed to the next shipping day. Please plan accordingly and Contact Us if you have any questions.

Standard Shipping Option

Standard Overnight Shipping Rates are based on our negotiated rates with UPS, delivery destination and total weight of your order. Current rates can be viewed here: Standard Shipping Rates.

All orders are shipped in a reusable insulated container, chilled by gel packs and delivered to your door.

For website orders, we will have your order packed within one full business day after the order is submitted and it will be shipped the next Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Please see the Standard Shipping Schedule below for details on order deadlines and scheduling of shipments.

We use UPS overnight service for shipping. Standard overnight service will have your product delivered by 7:00 PM the next business day after shipment if shipped to a residence. Delivery by 5:00 PM if delivered to a commercial proprty.

We only ship orders Monday through Wednesday. We do this to ensure safe delivery as well as the quality of our products. If you have special delivery requirements (i.e. need to ship on Thursday or Friday), please use the Expedited Shipping Option or contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs.

Expedited Shipping Option

Expedited Shipping Rate: Add $9.95 to total shipping charge.

When our standard delivery schedule will not meet your needs and you need the delivery as soon as possible select the Expedited Shipping option. For an additional $9.95 over the standard shipping rate, orders received by 12 noon CST Tuesday – Thursday will be packed and shipped on the same day. Orders received after 12 noon CST Tuesday – Wednesday will be packed and shipped the next day. Please see the Expedited Shipping Schedule below for details on order deadlines and scheduling of shipments.

The Expedited Shipping option also allows packages to be shipped on Thursday for a Friday delivery. UPS will normally be able to deliver your product overnight, but in rare instances delays do occur. For this reason it is highly recommended that orders shipped on a Thursday be sent to an address where someone will be present on Saturday to accept any delayed shipment.

Pick Up Option

For local customers, or those planning to visit the area, a "pick up" option is available. Selecting this option will save you the cost of shipping. Your order will be packed in an non-insulated container. Insulated coolers may be purchased, if necessary, but it is recommended that you bring your own. Pick up is available Monday - Friday, 8am - 5 pm. Orders placed before noon will be available for pick up after 3pm. Orders placed afternoon will be available for pick up the next day. If you need an order filled sooner, let us know and we will try to accommodate the request.

 


Other Shipping Information

Please provide a physical address (not a P.O. Box) when entering the shipping address. The shipping address should be a location where someone will be available to receive the package from UPS or where the package may be left.
   
US Shipping Only: Unfortunately, do to our shipping methods we are unable to ship orders to addresses outside of the 50 U.S. states or to APO addresses.
   
Signature Release: All orders under $500 are shipped with a signature release (no signature required at delivery). However, the UPS driver determines whether or not the box will be left at the delivery location if no one is present. If the driver feels comfortable leaving the box at the delivery location then they will do so. If they do not feel comfortable leaving the box for any reason, then they will not do it. This is something that is not under our control. When we do see that a box has not been left we will automatically request a second delivery attempt.
   
Shipment to Multiple Addresses: Shipments to different addresses must be submitted as separate orders. We have done this so a single order does not get split up into individual shipments that are so small they cannot be delivered safely.
   
Explanation of Shipping Costs: Our shipping rates are based on the actual costs we incur for shipping fees and packing materials. We have negotiated favorable rates with UPS and we pass these savings on to you - no markup. Generally, your shipping costs on a per pound basis reduce significantly as the order size increases.
   
Minimum Order Size: Orders must include at least $50 of product. This is to ensure that the products ordered can be shipped safely to our customers. All website orders are shipped overnight in insulated coolers, and the product mix/quantity achieved with a $50 order is appropriate for safe transport in our smallest cooler. This minimum order level is a safeguard that prevents us from shipping products in a mostly "empty" cooler where quick thawing may occur.
   
About Gifts: If the "Bill To" name is different from the "Ship To" name we will assume it is a gift and will include a packing slip (no prices) in the package. A copy of the invoice (with prices) will be mailed to the Bill To address.
   
Order Early, Deliver Later! During checkout there is a "Comments" field available when you enter your credit card information. Simply put a message in the Comments field indicating your desired delivery date.
   
Consider the possibility of weather delays when scheduling a shipment. If a delay does occur our products can still be delivered safely up to 3 days after shipment. Some thawing may have occurred, but as long at the meat is cool to the touch (40° F or less) then the product is safe. Thawed products can be refrozen without a safety hazard or a significant loss in meat quality. This link to FoodSafety.gov may be helpful. All of our products are aged 21 - 28 days on the bone to maximize flavor and tenderness before being frozen at the peak of perfection. The products you order can be kept frozen up to 6 months or until you are ready to use them. Thaw your meat in the refrigerator. Larger cuts (such as roasts or whole legs) may take a full day to thaw.
   
We are committed to making your experience with us and our products a positive one.  We will track your package throughout the delivery process and work on your behalf to have it delivered promptly and safely.  However, please keep in mind that we must work within the limitations of the UPS system, and potential delays from weather conditions or other UPS errors are simply out of our control.
